In November 2007 me and my mum took a chance with the weather and went for a weekend hike in Scotland. It turned out to be an excellent decision because we had two great days of walking plus a fun day in Edinburgh wandering through the city and checking out the modern art museums. The first two days we stayed in Callander, about an hour's drive west of Edinburgh. The first day we hiked up Ben A'an, and went wandering about the woods afterwards. On the second day we hiked to the summit of Ben Ledi, 875 meters, and pretty exciting with low visibility and gale force winds.
The picture shows the still waters of Loch Katrine.
